In Crimsonland you will unlock new weapons and perks constantly improving your abilities and arsenal. Your screen will be filled with literally hundreds of monsters and thousands of giblets. The original Crimsonland was released in 2003. After the game was greenlit at the end of 2013, 10tons decided to give the game a complete tune-up. The brand new 2014 version introduces countless gameplay fixes, a new chapter with new enemies, new perks, and new weapons. On top of that we’ve done a complete art overhaul!

What are perks? Perks are like talents in an RPG game. You earn XP by killing monsters and with XP you earn levels. After leveling up you get to choose a perk. For example, a perk called Fastloader enables you to reload extremely fast. During a session perks will stack up a and every game will be a bit different. You’ll unlock perks during the quest mode after which they become available in the survival game modes.

We’ve created a huge arsenal of 30 unique weapons ranging from the humble pistol to the mysterious Shrinkifier 5k. The weapons are unlocked by playing the quest mode and they become available in survival game modes as well. The better your arsenal – the better chances you have at scoring higher outside the quest mode.

Crimsonland features up to four player local co-op. All game modes including the quest can be played in co-op mode. There are also separate leaderboards for co-op games so gather your friends and show the internet who wields the gauss shotgun like a pro!

The above solution is a good one but I came across another amazing setup for this achievement. There is definitely still some luck needed to get the right perks and a little skill to stay alive long enough to hit 500K even with this method but this is how I got it.What you need:Mini Rocket Swarmers for a weaponPerks:Stationary Reloader (ESSENTIAL!)Doctor/Uranium Bullets/Poison Bullets (any of these three, for extra damage)Fast ShotDodger or Tough Skin (the armadillo perk, the one where you trade 1/3rd of health for 2/3rds of damage taken)Angry ReloaderLuckywith this set up, you cannot move much, but thats ok because you will be an immobile death machine. You will shoot out so many rockets and spread-shot bullets (thanks to Angry Reloader) that you won't have to worry much about taking damage until you get close to the 500K score.

You want to position yourself to the far right side of the map so you can be ready for those pain in the ass Green Spitting Spiders that can ruin your life quickly. The only time you'll want to move is when you see a shield, rapid shot (for maximum death and destruction), or a freeze powerup nearby you, otherwise, just stay still and DESTROY!Heres a video demonstrating the method, although his is slightly different as he chose Living Fortress as a perk for even more damage. Big shout to Renan Preto. He was most likely just mad when he noticed that this solution did not automatically pop the achievement for him. It is a fantastic solution.

I would never even gotten remotely close to getting it, had it not been for this set up. But it is still not easy.

Can still take a lot tries. Took me a week, lol. Some people think that they can just read a solution and think they will get the achievement next game. They fail to realize that some achievements are still hard, even with the perfect set up and strategies.
