Bit late it seems but I have just unlock my door and come out but a month of going to hell and back.

I have been playing this game for the past few days and it's pretty great. I first heard about it due to the whole 'censored on PS4 but not Switch' controversy (not something I personally care about) and thought, 'Hey this game looks pretty cool!'
.It is.The first thing people will think when they see it is 'visual novel' but I don't think that's a perfectly accurate assessment. It's more of an investigation game - think Phoenix Wright meets Fatal Frame.
If you're a fan of games like Ace Attorney, Danganronpa but don't mind a much creepier twist, you should definitely check this one out.For whatever reason, it seems like the game is going largely under the radar. The guy at Gamestop didn't even know it existed until I asked for a copy. I haven't seen any recent threads about it here either, so I figured I would make a post to open up some discussion. Is anyone else playing it? Do you have any questions if you're on the fence?. Just completed chapter one.
So far me and my partner are enjoying it. The pacing at the beggining is a little slow and quite frankly somewhat boring, but I do enjoy how the story picks up.
My first complaint is that they could've delved a little deeper with world building and characters. My second complaint is that I wish there were more animated cut-scenes instead of stills. We also had a hard time progressing by missing an item or two. But overall if you have a penchant for suspense, mystery, scares I think it's definitely a game to go for. It gives off an almost corny anthology type of vibe, but in a good entertaining way. We got the game for about $30 bucks at game stop with a coupon, I personally wouldn't spend over $30 for it.
