Sonic Mania is a platform game in 2D developed by Christian Whitehead, Headcannon and PagodaWest Games, overseen by Sonic Team and published by Sega for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. It was announced at the commemoration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the franchise, and was released in August 2017 worldwide.

The original theater sadly closed in 1968 and became home to a number of other theaters in the years after. However, in 1994 the original theater re-opened and in 2007 it was leased and began to be operated by Live Nation. Since then Live Nation has created a brand out of The Fillmore and there are now nine locations spread across the country.

The game describes the adventures of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, who must once again defeat Dr. Eggman and his new robots, Hard-Boiled Heavies.The development was led by the programmer Christian Whitehead, who had previously worked on adaptations of classic video games of Sonic.

Players can select one of the 3 playable characters, each with their own unique abilities. And Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the player can use Sonic and Tails simultaneously or a second player can control Tails. 1 The game contains unlockable features that let you modify the gameplay, including the option of using skills Sonic CD and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 instead of the whirlwind fall, and “Knuckles” mode which allows simultaneous control of any character with Knuckles. 2The giant rings hidden in every act, a feature of the original games, lead the character to a special phase in pseudo 3D, similar to those of Sonic CD. In these phases, players must dodge obstacles and collect blue spheres to increase your speed, allowing chasing a UFO carrying a chaos emerald; collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds allows players to use the Super transformation of character and unlock the true ending of the game.
