A 'ok' game but I expected more to be honest.I got into golf recently and, being an avid gamer, I wanted to check out a lot of major golf games out there. If you need to know, these are Mario Golf (GBA), Everybody's Golf 2 (PSP) (a.k.a. Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2), Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (PSP), Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 (Wii), and my latest addition, Pangya: Fantasy golf for the the PlayStation Portable.A major reason why I was so excited to get this game is that I was hoping it would be a bigger and better golf game than Everybody's Golf 2 which I (more or less) completed and which I would rank as my favourite amongst the above list.However, the biggest flaw view with EG2, in my opinion, is the lack of a story, campaign, or tour mode. Sure there is a Challenge mode but it never quite felt like a proper story or tour mode as pre sent in every single other games.

I found that really disapointing because, other than that, I would argue EG2 has the better gameplay and the better graphics.So when I picked Pangya, I did it really hoping to get a game that would be like Everybody's Golf 2 but with a story mode.You do get the story mode, and I really appreciate the big amount of effort that was put into it (nice items, colourful pictures and icons, interaction between characters, etc). The story mode isn't perfect but it gets the job done.My biggest issue is with the gameplay and the graphics elements of the game:First of all, the graphics are.

Not very good I think, especially when it comes to the character models. There is, in my opinion, a huge gap between that and EG2. In fact, that's the first thing that I noticed when I started the game: the characters looks less detailed and washed out, and the courses look less pleasing to the eye than in EG2.As far as the gameplay is concerned, it feels a lot less solid than that of EG2, even though, it is more forgiving (which I would consider a plus because, at times, I find EG2's gameplay to be too severe in the later stages of the games (moreso since the game is supposedly aimed at a younger and more casual audience)).So for me, that's where the problem lies. They put a good amount of effort in the story mode and overall presentation part of the game, but when it comes down the actual golfing, the game is not up to the level I was hoping it would be, hence the grade I have given it (N.B. I found a 3 out of 5 rating to be quite severe but I found a 4 out of 5 one to be too generous. So really, if I could, it'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 rating instead of a 3).

Your character can be customized with clothes, accessories, and there is a history mode to tie all together and network mode to play with friends.I miss the full online mode that comes with Pangya for PC (free online game), but you can always play and practice in your PSP and then play with or against people on your PC.Or if you are fan of Pangya for PC, this is a must have:).
