I've got plenty of reviews of this game so decided to try it out on PSX emulation on PC. The game starts off the main cutscene but i can't skip it. Even if i wait for the cutscene to end and, therefore, get to the main menu I still have no controller response.

Being a spiritual successor for the Sega Genesis title Landstalker (also available here at EmuParadise ;D), this PSone gem blends top-down platforming, action-adventure, and RPG-elements and throws in a story of a boy who discovers he can enter the dreams of others. As you progress, your powers improve, you become stronger, and the narritive becomes even darker, as you discover people thoughts through their dreams. Definitely a must-play!

A highly underrated game ,in the top down Style of Zelda's past NES and SNES games. Players will find a variety of ingenious puzzle trap games as well as a very unique and compelling storyline with elements of fantasy and Astral Projection with the main character slipping into other characters dreams to progress through the game often with various bosses at the ends of each dream level. Alundra also has similar Zelda characteristics in the various weapons and items the main character collects as he progresses through the game. Overall a unique and underappreciated game deserving High Praise!
